The Crypto Stars Collection is out now on Rarible

The Cryptostars series which I have created aimed to be a tribute to all of those fascinating, appealing and prestigious figures we all admire and feel close to. Whether those are coming from a historical background ( Napoleon, Cesar, Shakespeare, Mao Tse-Tung...) or else,

 I try to make them look some ways satirical or caricatural even without mocking them. 

 The Crypto Stars NFT Collection was created in the middle of the pandemic, early 2021. I made a series of 15 of them when I started to understand that collections were the long-term successful way of achieving something and instantly, I received great feedback from everyone around me. I knew I was into something and that the potential to develop it even further was huge. 

I don’t intend to offend anyone or to be controversial to make the headlines. Its celebrating people who made a difference across multiple disciplines. Artists, Musicians, writers/thinkers, politicians, scientists, Nobel prices, popular fictional characters which are part of public domain.

 I also loved very much what Picasso did by revisiting old iconic painting from the masters of renaissance and else and giving them a different modern twist and look. Making them look comical or humoristic even by giving them a grumpy look. Essentially pastiche is what I aim for, Unlike parody, pastiche celebrates the work it imitates, rather than mocking it.
